Cricket

A Cricket is an insect that widely known for being nocturnal and constantly chirping away. The chirping is the crickets mating call that is produced by rubbing its wings together to produce the noise, but only males can make the sound. Crickets will alternate the sounds depending on the paricular circumstance. The emotional intelligence of a cricket is aggression, passive and devoid of feeling. The intelligence of a cricket can only really be wondered by alternating sounds dependent on the circustance. Though like many insects Crickets are drawn towards the light, so humanmade lights draw them in and they will gather there. Lots of stuff eats crickets reptiles, amphibians, birds, mammals, fish, and they die due to anthropogenic reasons like getting crushed by cars, poisoned, fed to pets, used as bait or fed to humans. There is also a special kind of parasite called horsehair worms that are common in crickets, which will take control of the crickets behaviour. The parasite will cause the cricket to spring into the water then the horsehair worm will burst out at which point the cricket is already dead. Though the species that are typically used for cricket farming is Acheta domesticus or Gryllodes sigillatus. Roasted Crickets don't taste great but are packed with proteins, so they are best used as a flour that is added to a food recipe product to make it more nutritional like cake.
